Legal value of digital signing

A digital signature has the same legal value as a handwritten signature. That is why the digitally signed document is legally equivalent to a document signed in writing. The evidential value depends on iDIN as an authentication tool. iDIN is a high-quality identification method with eIDAS reliability level 'Substantial'. Moreover, it complies with the requirements of the law for a digital private contract (Article 156a RV), which means that the evidential value of a digitally signed document is equivalent to a paper private agreement. We record the entire process on a transaction receipt (log) so that your company immediately has all the evidential value for a legally valid transaction
